Relax on a hiking tour along the lavender island.

PROGRAM:

Day 1: Arrival to the Kvarner bay, half board at the hotel.

Day 2: Drive to the south after the breakfast, rest in Zadar and Split, ferry ride to the island of Hvar, half board at the hotel.

Day 3: After the breakfast, tour of the island of Hvar, half board at the hotel.

Day 4: Hiking at the island of Brač, boat trip to the neighboring island of Brač and the famous beach – Zlatni rat.

Easy walk along the coast up to the Dragon Cave. Even through its name, the Dragon Cave, which dates back to the early Christian time, suggests to be part of a pagan cult.

The most impressive artistic work is the dragon relief, which gives its name to the cave.

The image group represents, as seen from an iconographic point of view,the victory over the dark forces of evil.

The cave can be found near the town Murvica, which is located 6 km west of Bol. In the area, there are some hermitages that emerged in Christian tradition.

The Dragon cave is 20 m long and is divided into four spatial units through walls. In the first room there is a small church with an altar, which is carved out of the rock.

Day 5: Hiking on the lavender island.

A half-day hiking tour.

Medium difficulty hike over the old stone path up to Humac – a forgotten mountain village.

Day 6: Check out after the breakfast, ferry ride to Split.

Sightseeing. drive back to the Kvarner bay for overnight.

Day 7: Homeward journey.
